Olympic Games for Discovery

When most people in Norway sat down to watch the athletes during the Olympics in Tokyo, our people were working around the clock to bring these moments out to European TV viewers.

The transmission went from Tokyo to our broadcast center in Oslo, and we made sure that Discovery's employees could edit highlights via our cloud-based editing solutions. Our Mediabank solution made search and accessibility easy for those working with production of content while the games took place.

With NEP's centralized editing solutions, our customers can sit anywhere and edit on high-resolution images, as the editing machines and heavy processing take place at our data center. However, the editor control is wherever the editor is located. This gives the editor the same experience as if being in the same room as the machine.
